KAS offers a fresh approach to business

A desire to provide top-tier advice in a more personal environment bought the three founding partners together to form KAS Tax & Business Solutions in 2006.

With a background working with larger firms, Kerrie-Anne Bailey, Amanda Johnson and Stuart Bailey wanted to have a more flexible approach to working with their clients.

Founding Partner Stuart Bailey said this is refected in the KAS name, which bears the initials of the partners first name rather than the more traditional practice of using last names.

“We like to interact with clients on a first name basis so it didn’t make sense to use our last names – it’s just not the way we deal with client so we thought we would take a fresh approach” said Stuart Bailey

“This fresh approach means we maintain an open dialogue with clients” said Stuart Bailey.  “We adopt a proactive approach and deal with issues as they arise rather than waiting until the end of the year”.

The KAS team has expertise in tax, superannuation and financial planning. “We find that combining these services helps us give the very best advice to our clients” said Mr Bailey.

“We believe as accountants it is important to do more than just prepare tax returns.  We strive to assist our clients grow profits, minimise tax and build their personal wealth”.

“We are able to apply our expertise to a wide range of clients” said Mr Bailey.

“Many of our clients are small and medium businesses on the Gold Coast.  At the same time we also provide advice on tax-effective strategies to senior managers and executives working for larger organisations”.

“We assist our client’s with wealth creation strategies, both personally and using self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs). We focus on working with our clients to get the very best outcome” he said.
