We started our firm in 2006 and since then have grown to become a team of 9 providing tax and business solutions to a range of businesses and families across the Gold Coast.
We like to take a fresh and more flexible approach when working with our clients.
This is reflected in the KAS name, which bears the initials of our partners first name rather than the more traditional practice of using last names.
Our goal is to build relationships so that we are on a first name basis with you our client.
It’s a fresh approach which means we can build an open dialogue with you. We like to adopt a proactive approach and deal with issues as they arise rather than waiting until the end of the year.
Our team has expertise in tax, superannuation and financial planning.
We believe as accountants it is important to do more than just prepare tax returns.
We strive to assist our clients grow profits, minimise tax and build their personal wealth.
Our clients range from small to medium enterprises and host of local families. We’re located in the Varsity Central, Varsity Lakes on 240 Varsity Parade.

Kerrie-Anne BaileyKerrie-Anne Bailey has over 13 years experience in providing specialist taxation, superannuation and business advice to a diverse range of clients.
After growing up and studying on the Gold Coast, Kerrie-Anne moved to work in Sydney with Ernst & Young, Gadens Lawyers and David Bonnell & Associates (a boutique tax firm).
While working in Sydney, Kerrie-anne became a Chartered Accountant, completed a Masters of Law (Taxation) degree at the University of Sydney and was admitted as a solicitor with the Supreme Court of NSW.
Kerrie-Anne and her family moved back to the Gold Coast in 2004. On her return she continued to work closely with her clients in Sydney in her own name.
In January 2006, Kerrie-Anne formed KAS Tax & Business Solutions with the other Principals of the business to do work for a growing list of clients on the Gold Coast.

Stuart BaileyStuart Bailey has over 14 years experience across accounting, corporate finance and commerce.
After growing up in country New South Wales, Stuart completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Newcastle.
Stuart has gained a broad depth of experience working with Ernst & Young (accounting), Deutsche Bank (investment banking) and Southcorp Wines (strategic planning). Stuart also became qualified as a Chartered Accountant during this time.
Stuart moved to the Gold Coast with Kerrie-Anne and his family in 2004.
Stuart established the financial planning arm of KAS Tax & Business Solutions in 2006. This evolved from Stuart’s passion for personal investment and financial markets and to give quality advice to clients looking for a ‘good’ financial planner.
Stuart is an authorised representative of Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd.
As a Chartered Accountant, Stuart practices the professional and ethical standards applied by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
As a Financial Adviser, Stuart has completed a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
